# API Status

Check the current status of the Bota API at [api.bota.dev/health](https://api.bota.dev/health).

## Health Endpoint

Returns `200 OK` when the API is operational.

## Incident Communication

During incidents, we provide updates via:

* **Email** — Automated notifications for subscribed users
* **In-Dashboard Alerts** — Banner notifications in the [Bota Dashboard](https://platform.bota.dev)

## Uptime Target

We target **99.9% API availability**. See [SLA](/legal/sla) for details.
