In an enterprise deployment, you aren’t just managing individual users; you are managing a fleet.
Device Health Monitoring
Every time a device syncs with the Bota Mobile SDK, it reports its vitals:
- Battery Level: Track units that need charging before a shift.
- Storage Usage: Monitor units that haven’t synced their offline recordings.
- Last Sync: Identify “lost” or inactive units in the field.
Bulk Operations
For large-scale deployments (e.g., shipping 1,000 pins to a sales team), Bota supports:
- Bulk Registration: Pre-register serial numbers via CSV or API before shipping.
- Claim Codes: Distribute activation codes so employees can self-bind devices to their accounts.
- Firmware Profiles: Control which firmware versions are rolled out to different groups of devices.
The Fleet Dashboard
While developers use the API, operational managers can use the Bota Dashboard to:
- See a geographic heat map of active recordings.
- Receive alerts when device health dips below thresholds.
