Health Endpoint

Returns 200 OK when the API is operational.

Release identity header

When a valid build identity is embedded in the API image, /health includes the optional X-Bota-Release-Sha response header with the full lowercase 40-character source commit SHA. Local development with an absent or malformed identity omits this header. The health JSON body and existing status behavior are unchanged. The header identifies the baked API source. It does not prove authenticated API flows, processing workers, integrations or an end-to-end availability target.

During incidents, we provide updates via:
  • Email — Automated notifications for subscribed users
  • In-Dashboard Alerts — Banner notifications in the Bota Dashboard
